Åcon 5 Will Be in 2012

Åcon 5 will be orgnized in Mariehamn, Åland, in May 2012. This is because in 2011 the Ascension weekend when the convention traditionally is organized, will be in June, only two weeks before the Eurocon in Stockholm, and the two events would clash too much. You’re not totally left without a party convention in 2011, though, because there will be Båtcon, arranged on the ferry trips from Finland to Eurocon, and back again after the convention (and an Åcon party at Eurocon). So, welcome to Åcon again in 2012! Meanwhile, sign up for Euråcon and see you at Båtcon!!
